Wildlife Safari and Cultural Experience

You will be met upon your arrival in JRO; and transfer to Hotel near JRO airport at Airport Planet Lodge for overnight.

After breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive in this very diverse park with picnic lunch boxes, Tarangire is well known for its large herds of elephants population.

More game drive safari in the Tarangire Park; then later in the day, we drive to overnight in Karatu (approx 20 minutes drive from Ngorongoro’s gate).

Drive towards Ngorongoro (approx. 20mins); after registration at the gate, enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and drive for about 30 minutes before entering the descending gate of the Crater. Game drives safari in the Crater, exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many more games. Later in the day, we drive to overnight in Serengeti.

Morning game drive safari in the Serengeti before driving to Lake Eyasi with lunch boxes for dinner and overnight.

Today you will uncover the thrilling art of honey collection, diving deep into the wild to discover sweet treasures hidden within the trees. With expert precision, you’ll unearth roots buried beneath the earth, which is a vital source of sustenance for the bush men, learning the ancient secrets of foraging that have been whispered through generations. You will also have an opportunity to master the art of the bow and arrow as you practice hitting stationary marked targets. Finally, you will learn the art of animal tracking, a dance with nature where every footprint and broken twig tells a story of survival and cunning in the untamed wilderness.

For those who can’t participate on the above activities, there is an option for just a short walking safari in the area and/or wait others at the Camp.

After the above experience, we will proceed to the Datoga village, a place celebrated for its exceptional blacksmiths. Here, you will have the opportunity to observe firsthand how they meticulously craft raw materials into remarkable items such as arrowheads and beautifully designed necklaces. This visit offers a unique insight into the traditional techniques and the rich cultural heritage behind each creation

Later on, we will drive back to Arusha and proceed to Airport Planet Lodge where we will stop to freshen up before proceeding to the airport for your evening/night flight back home.
