Good Earth and Good Earth Tours are trading names of Good Earth Tours & Safaris, Inc., a corporation registered in the State of Florida, and Good Earth Adventure Inc., a corporation registered federally in Canada.
Throughout these Terms & Conditions:
- Safari, tour, itinerary, and trip refer to the travel arrangements booked with us
- Client, guest, traveler, or participant refer to you
A. Tour Inclusions
Our tour prices are valid through December 31, 2027, and are designed to include everything needed for a seamless and worry-free experience:
- Carefully selected accommodations as outlined in your itinerary
- Meals as specified, including bottled water during group meals
- All ground transportation, including airport transfers
- Expert guides, drivers, and support teams
- Park fees, conservation fees, and applicable taxes
- Private safari vehicles with guaranteed window seating; in select areas, game drives may be shared with other guests, and any such arrangements will be clearly outlined in your itinerary.
We aim to deliver a fully immersive experience with no surprises along the way.
B. Items Not Included
To keep flexibility for our travelers, the following are not included:
- International and domestic airfare (unless specified)
- Passports and visa fees
- Travel insurance (strongly recommended)
- Optional activities not listed in your itinerary
- Personal expenses such as laundry, beverages beyond included water, gratuities, and communication costs
C. Deposit & Booking Confirmation
To secure your reservation, a minimum non-refundable deposit of $1,000 USD per person is required. Accepted methods of payments for booking your trip include check, money order, bank draft, and wire transfer. We also accept Credit Cards (MC/VISA/AMEX/Discovery) for the required deposit payment only. If you want to pay the remaining balance with a Credit Card, a 3.5% surcharge will apply. Because many of the exceptional properties and experiences we work with have strict advance payment requirements, a higher deposit may occasionally be required depending on the accommodations included in your itinerary. This will always be clearly communicated at the time of booking. Your booking is considered confirmed once your deposit has been received and processed. This deposit allows us to begin securing your lodges, guides, and arrangements, and its payment confirms your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
D. Final Payment
The remaining balance is due 120 days prior to your departure date. We will send reminders ahead of this deadline to ensure everything stays on track. If the balance is not received by the due date, your reservation may be released, and any payments made to that point may be forfeited.
E. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as fair and transparent as possible while honoring commitments made to our partners. All cancellations must be submitted in writing and are effective on the date received.

F. Trip Amendments
We’re happy to assist with changes whenever possible.
- Changes requested more than 90 days before departure will be accommodated subject to availability and may involve additional costs
- Changes requested within 90 days of departure are often limited by supplier policies and may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking
Our team will always work with you to find the best possible solution.
G. Travel Insurance (Highly Recommended)
Given the nature of international travel and our cancellation policy, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. A good policy should include:
- Emergency medical care and evacuation
- Trip cancellation and interruption coverage
- Travel delay protection
- Coverage for lost or delayed baggage
Travel insurance provides peace of mind and protects your investment in the unexpected.
H. Guest Responsibility
The person making the booking confirms that they are authorized to act on behalf of all travelers listed in the reservation. Any payment made toward the booking indicates acceptance of these Terms & Conditions by all travelers.
I. Health & Participation
Our Safaris are designed to be immersive and active. Guests should be in suitable physical and mental condition to fully enjoy the experience. If you have any concerns, we encourage discussing them with us in advance so we can guide you appropriately.
J. Itinerary Flexibility
While we carefully plan every detail, travel in remote and dynamic destinations sometimes requires flexibility. We reserve the right to make adjustments to itineraries when necessary due to:
- Weather conditions
- Transportation changes
- Safety considerations
- Other unforeseen circumstances
When changes are required, we always aim to provide comparable or enhanced alternatives.
K. Accommodations & Logistics
Occasionally, accommodations or services may need to be adjusted due to availability or circumstances beyond our control. When this happens, we will substitute with comparable options of similar quality whenever possible.
L. Special Requests
We are happy to note special requests such as room preferences or dietary needs. While we work closely with our partners to fulfill these requests, they cannot be guaranteed.
M. Baggage
Baggage and personal belongings remain the responsibility of the traveler throughout the Safari. Weight restrictions may apply on certain internal flights, and details will be provided in advance.
N. Photography
During your Safari, photos or videos may be taken for promotional purposes. By traveling with us, you grant permission for such use. If you prefer not to appear in any media, simply let us know.
O. Pricing & Adjustments
Our pricing is based on current supplier rates, fuel costs, and exchange rates. In rare cases, adjustments may be necessary prior to final payment due to significant changes in these factors. We will always communicate any changes transparently.
P. Claims & Refunds
We are committed to delivering exceptional experiences. If any issue arises during your Safari, we encourage you to notify your guide or our team immediately so we can address it in real time. Refunds are generally not provided for unused services once a trip has begun. Any formal claims must be submitted in writing within 45 days of trip completion.
Q. Our Responsibility
Good Earth Tours works with a trusted network of partners, including lodges, airlines, and local operators. While we carefully select these providers, we do not directly control their operations and therefore cannot accept liability for their actions or unforeseen events beyond our control, including delays, natural events, or service interruptions.
R. Dispute Resolution
For US-Based Bookings: Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Tampa, Florida, in accordance with applicable rules.
For Canada-Based Bookings: This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta. The parties agree that the courts of Alberta shall have jurisdiction. However, the parties may mutually agree to resolve any dispute through binding arbitration in Edmonton, Alberta, pursuant to the Arbitration Act (Alberta)
