Enjoy the evening unwinding as you prepare for tomorrow’s scenic journey to the iconic Virunga Mountains.

After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Ruhengeri, the gateway to Volcanoes National Park, a journey that winds through Rwanda’s lush rolling hills and picturesque countryside. Along the way, we’ll stop to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a powerful and moving tribute to Rwanda’s history and resilience. The memorial provides an opportunity to reflect and understand the incredible transformation of this nation.

As you arrive in the shadow of the towering Virunga Mountains, take in the dramatic landscape of volcanic peaks.

Rise early for the adventure of a lifetime: gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. Hike through lush Bamboo Forests alongside expert guides, seeking a family of mountain gorillas. The moment you spot these incredible creatures in their natural habitat will leave you in awe. After an unforgettable hour with the gorillas, return for lunch and head back to Kigali to relax.

After breakfast, transfer to Kigali Airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Tanzania. Upon arrival, our team will transfer you to a peaceful lodge near the airport, where you can unwind and prepare for the safari adventures ahead.

Journey to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and picturesque baobab trees. Spend the day exploring the park’s landscapes on game drives, where lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest gather near the life-giving Tarangire River. Pause for a scenic picnic lunch surrounded by nature’s beauty before settling into your lodge for the evening.

Enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire to catch the wildlife at its most active. Later, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the dramatic landscape of the Crater rim awaits. This evening, relax at your lodge with sweeping views of the surrounding wilderness and prepare for tomorrow’s descent into the Crater.

Today, descend into the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a full morning of game viewing. This natural amphitheater is teeming with wildlife, including lions, rhinos, elephants, and zebras. After lunch on the Crater floor, head onward to the Serengeti, where the rolling plains and endless horizons invite you to discover Tanzania’s most celebrated park.

Spend two unforgettable days in Serengeti National Park, exploring its vast plains and abundant wildlife. Witness lions stalking prey, elephants roaming freely, and perhaps even the Great Migration if your timing is right. Morning and afternoon game drives bring you closer to the heart of the action, while breathtaking sunrises and sunsets make for unforgettable memories.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before traveling to Lake Manyara National Park. Known for its tree-climbing lions, colorful flamingos, and beautiful woodlands, this park offers a refreshing change of pace. Spend the evening unwinding at your lodge, surrounded by the serene landscape.

Start the day with a final game drive in Lake Manyara National Park or opt for a cultural walking tour in Mto wa Mbu, where you can visit banana plantations and meet local artisans. Afterwards, transfer to Arusha for a stop at Airport Planet Lodge to freshen up before continuing to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your evening flight home.
