Arrival in Kilimanjaro – Your Adventure Begins

Welcome to Tanzania! As you step off your flight at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our friendly team will be there to greet you with a warm welcome. You’ll be transferred to your comfortable lodge located just a short distance away, offering a serene setting to unwind after your travels. Spend the rest of the day settling in, relaxing by the pool, or enjoying a cool drink as you soak in the beauty of your surroundings. This peaceful evening is the perfect start to your East African adventure.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Land of Elephants

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a wildlife haven renowned for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. Arrive at the park and begin your game drive, where you’ll witness elephants wandering gracefully, giraffes stretching for treetop leaves, and herds of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope gathering near the Tarangire River. Stop for a picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery, as you listen to the sounds of nature. By evening, arrive at your lodge and relax under the African stars as the distant sounds of wildlife serenade you to sleep.

Day 3

Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater Rim – A Journey into Nature

Start the day with a morning game drive through Tarangire, catching the animals at their most active as the soft morning light illuminates the park. Watch elephants and gazelles grazing, and keep an eye out for elusive predators hunting in the cooler hours. Later, journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll ascend to the crater rim for spectacular views of the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Arrive at your lodge perched above the crater, offering a dramatic vantage point to enjoy the stunning scenery as the sun sets over the rim.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti – Wildlife Wonderlands

Today is an unforgettable day! After breakfast, descend 2,000 feet into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater bursting with wildlife. Enjoy a half-day of game drives on the crater floor, where you’ll encounter a dense concentration of animals, including elephants, zebras, buffalo, and perhaps even the elusive black rhino. Watch flamingos flock to soda lakes while lions bask in the sun. After a picnic lunch, continue your journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. As you travel through scenic landscapes, watch for wildlife along the way. Arrive at your lodge in time to relax and savor a spectacular Serengeti sunset.

Days 5-6

Serengeti National Park – The Ultimate Safari Experience

Over the next two days, immerse yourself in the heart of the Serengeti, a land of endless plains and unparalleled wildlife. Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, where the golden light reveals predators returning from a night’s hunt and herbivores beginning their day. Spend your days exploring the park’s vast terrain, encountering lion prides, herds of elephants, grazing antelope, and the vibrant birdlife of the Serengeti. If your timing is right, witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebra thunder across the savanna. In the evenings, return to your camp, relax around the fire, and listen to the sounds of the wild under star-studded skies.

Day 7

Serengeti to Lake Manyara

Enjoy one last game drive in the Serengeti as the early morning light paints the landscape. Later, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem nestled at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Along the way, you have the option to stop at a Masai Village for a cultural experience or visit the historical Olduvai Gorge, a site of significant paleoanthropological discoveries. Arrive at Lake Manyara in the evening, where the lush forest and peaceful lake views invite you to unwind.

Day 8

Lake Manyara to Kilimanjaro – A Farewell to Tanzania

This morning, explore Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, vibrant flamingos, and elephants roaming through lush forests. Alternatively, choose a cultural walking tour in the nearby village of Mto wa Mbu, where you can interact with local artisans and explore banana and rice plantations. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for a refreshment stop before transferring to Kilimanjaro Airport for your evening flight to Addis Ababa.

Day 9

Addis Ababa to Victoria Falls

After breakfast, board your flight from Addis Ababa to Victoria Falls, one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders. Upon arrival, our team will transfer you to your comfortable lodge or hotel in Victoria Falls town. Take some time to relax and soak in the laid-back atmosphere before embarking on an unforgettable sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Sip refreshing drinks as you drift along the water, watching hippos, crocodiles, and elephants against a backdrop of golden light and breathtaking African skies.

Note: It is possible to spend your nights on the Zambian Side of the falls. Simply let us know if this is what you’d prefer and we will advise you accordingly.

Victoria Falls

Today is dedicated to exploring Victoria Falls, famously called “Mosi-oa-Tunya” or “The Smoke That Thunders.” Start the morning with a guided tour of the falls, witnessing the immense power and beauty of this cascading water. Follow misty trails along the gorge for panoramic viewpoints and stunning photo opportunities. Feel the spray on your face as you marvel at the largest sheet of falling water in the world.

In the evening, immerse yourself in an authentic African cultural experience with a Boma Dinner. This unique dining adventure features traditional African dishes, drumming performances, and interactive dancing. It’s an evening full of vibrant energy and unforgettable memories.

Victoria Falls to Cape Town

After a leisurely morning, you’ll transfer to the airport for your flight to Cape Town, South Africa. Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel located at the famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Settle in and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, with shops, restaurants, and scenic harbor views right at your doorstep. If time allows, take a stroll along the waterfront promenade and enjoy the relaxed energy of this iconic destination.

Full Day Cape Peninsular Tour

Nowhere else in the world treats you to the level of scenic beauty that’s on offer in the Cape Peninsula. Experience it all on this spectacular day tour that introduces you to the rugged coastline while en-route to renowned Cape Point.

Pass the city’s famed beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, before heading to Chapman’s Peak Drive. This impressive 15km route cuts into the jagged mountains surrounding Hout Bay harbor, offering unspoiled views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Once you arrive at Cape Point Nature Reserve, you’ve entered the renowned south-westernmost point of the African continent. It’s here that famous shipwrecks throughout history have left their skeletons.

Winelands Day Tour

This morning following breakfast, your guide will collect you to embark on a full day winelands.

Winemaking is a centuries-old pastime in Cape Town, and there is no shortage of estates that are well known for their craft. This tour introduces you to the signature wines of the Franschhoek and Stellenbosch regions and treats you to a bit of history along the way. Customized to your preference, you can choose to focus your trip on tasting your favorite varietals or experimenting with the locally grown specialties.

Don’t miss the opportunity to meet the winemaker or take an intimate cellar tour. You can opt for the much-loved wine and cheese pairing or satisfy your sweet tooth with a wine and chocolate tasting.
