Arrive in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital, a city surrounded by rolling hills and rich in culture, history, and modern amenities. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and receive your travel documents. If time permits, enjoy a short city tour, visiting notable landmarks such as the Christuskirche, the Independence Memorial Museum, and the bustling craft markets. The rest of the day is yours to relax at the lodge or explore the nearby area at your own pace.

After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive toward the iconic Namib Desert. Wind through dramatic mountain passes and arid plains before arriving at your lodge near Sossusvlei. Along the way, stretch your legs at quirky roadside stops like the desert town of Solitaire. As the sun dips below the dunes, enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by the vast silence of the desert.

Rise early and head into the heart of the Namib Desert. Climb the towering red dunes of Sossusvlei, explore the ghostly beauty of Deadvlei, and peer into the depths of Sesriem Canyon. This surreal landscape is a dream for photographers and adventurers alike. Return to your lodge in the afternoon, perhaps opting for a sunset nature drive or relaxing by the pool.

Depart the desert and journey to the Atlantic coast. Drive through vast gravel plains, cross the Tropic of Capricorn, and stop at scenic viewpoints before reaching Swakopmund. This charming seaside town offers a cool coastal breeze and a delightful blend of African and European culture.

Spend the day choosing your own adventure—whether it’s a thrilling dune ride, a marine cruise to spot dolphins and seals, or a relaxing visit to a beach café. Families love the range of activities here, from sandboarding to visiting flamingo-filled lagoons in nearby Walvis Bay. In the evening, enjoy fresh seafood with an ocean view.

Head north along the Skeleton Coast to Cape Cross, where you’ll encounter a massive colony of Cape fur seals. Then journey inland into Damaraland, a region of towering mountains and ancient rock formations. Stop to explore Twyfelfontein’s prehistoric rock engravings before settling into your lodge nestled among dramatic desert landscapes.

Spend the day exploring the wonders of Damaraland. Visit natural attractions such as the Organ Pipes, Burnt Mountain, and the Petrified Forest, where fossilized trees date back over 280 million years. Embark on a game drive in search of desert-adapted elephants, a unique population that thrives in the arid environment. Experience the local culture with a visit to the Damara Living Museum, where you can learn about the traditions of one of Namibia’s oldest ethnic groups.

Depart Damaraland and travel east toward Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Arrive at the Andersson Gate, the southern entrance to the park, and enjoy an afternoon game drive, stopping at Okaukuejo waterhole, a prime location for spotting elephants, lions, and rhinos. Spend the evening relaxing at your lodge, located just outside the park.

Today is dedicated to a full day of wildlife viewing in Etosha. Explore the vast salt pans and numerous waterholes, where herds of zebras, springbok, giraffes, and elephants gather. Look out for predators such as lions and cheetahs resting in the shade. Stop for lunch at Halali Rest Camp, then continue eastward through the park to reach your next lodge near the Von Lindequist Gate.

Spend the morning on a final game drive in Etosha or take part in activities at your lodge, such as guided bush walks, night drives, or photographic hide experiences. Onguma Reserve is home to over 30 mammal species, including black rhino, lion, and leopard. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the lodge before a sunset drive to end your safari experience.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive back to Windhoek. Along the way, take in the vast Namibian landscapes, passing through small towns and open plains. Arrive in Windhoek in the afternoon, where your guide will drop you off at the airport for your departure flight. Ensure you arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight.
