Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya

Welcome to Nairobi! Upon landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), expect a warm welcome from our team who will transfer you to your hotel. IT’s time to settle in, relax, and enjoy your first taste of African hospitality as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Nairobi to Masai Mara – The Wild Awaits

After breakfast, head out on a scenic drive to the legendary Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s wildlife haven. As you arrive and venture into the park, the plains stretch endlessly before you—teeming with herds of elephants, zebras, and grazing antelope. Spend the afternoon on your first game drive, where big cats and breathtaking scenery welcome you to the Mara.

Masai Mara – Wildlife Encounters

Continue exploring Masai Mara, immersing yourself in Kenya’s most spectacular wildlife sanctuary. Head out on morning and afternoon game drives to spot prides of lions, herds of elephants, and elusive leopards lounging in trees. Optional visits to a Maasai village provide a window into the vibrant traditions of the Maasai people.

Each day brings new surprises: cheetahs sprinting across the plains, hippos wallowing in the Mara River, and, if you’re lucky, the drama of a predator-prey encounter.

Masai Mara to Serengeti – Crossing Borders

Today, you will travel across the Kenya-Tanzania border at Sirari. After a quick vehicle swap, continue into the northern Serengeti—a vast and dramatic landscape alive with wildlife. Your en-route game drive introduces you to Tanzania’s iconic park as herds of wildebeest, giraffes, and gazelles cross your path.

Northern Serengeti - River Crossing

The majority of the day is spent in the northern Serengeti enjoying game drives near the great migration, where you’ll witness the dramatic river crossings and encounter predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. With breathtaking scenery and the thrill of close wildlife encounters, this experience offers unparalleled opportunities to observe one of nature’s most spectacular events.
Later on, you’ll drive to Central Serengeti and spend the night there.

Serengeti – Nature’s Grand Arena

Spend the day exploring the Serengeti National Park, one of the most iconic and wildlife-rich regions in Africa. The plains come alive with life: lions basking in the sun, elephants wandering in herds, and—if you’re here during the Great Migration—thousands of wildebeest thundering across the savanna in a mesmerizing display.

Depending on the season, the northern Serengeti offers thrilling Mara river crossings, while the Central Serengeti provides year-round predator sightings. Capture dramatic landscapes at sunrise, and end each day with dinner under a starlit sky.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater – A Natural Wonder

After a final early morning Serengeti game drive, journey to the majestic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife haven where elephants roam, rhinos graze, and big cats stalk their prey. This natural amphitheater is unlike anywhere else on Earth.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the Crater floor before heading to your nearby lodge for a relaxing evening.

Ngorongoro to Tarangire - Elephant Country

After breakfast you’ll descend into Ngorongoro Crater for game drives, exploring the short-grass plains of the Crater floor, this extinct volcano embraces 100 square miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo. Later in the day, we will drive to spend the night in Tarangire.

Tarangire & Farewell

On your final day, we’ll explore Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive herds of elephants and towering baobab trees. Enjoy a morning game drive, soaking up your last moments in the wild before returning to Arusha. A stop at Airport Planet Lodge allows time to freshen up before transferring to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) for your evening flight home.
