Classic Kenya Safari

Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you’ll be greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi for an evening of rest and relaxation to prepare for your safari adventure ahead.

Drive north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in this unique reserve, known for its dramatic landscapes and rare wildlife species.

Spend the day exploring Samburu National Reserve on morning and afternoon game drives. Samburu is famous for its unique wildlife, including the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk.

After breakfast, drive to Sweetwaters Game Reserve. Enjoy game drives in this private conservancy and visit the renowned Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a haven for rescued chimpanzees.

Depart Sweetwaters and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, stopping briefly at Nyahururu’s Thomson Falls. After lunch, explore Lake Nakuru on an afternoon game drive. The park is famous for its flamingos, pelicans, and diverse wildlife, including Rothschild giraffes, bushbucks, and leopards.

Travel to the Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most renowned wildlife sanctuary. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to discover herds of elephants, buffalo, and giraffes, as well as predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Spend the day in the Maasai Mara, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives. This world-famous reserve is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife and is particularly famous for the Great Migration (seasonal). You can also visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture (optional at an additional cost).

Begin your day with an early morning game drive before departing for Nairobi with packed lunch en route. Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to the airport for your return flight. A day room is available upon request at an additional cost.
