EXCELLENT Based on 466 reviews Dixie H2025-03-11Verified ONCE IN A LIFETIME TRIP! AMAZING! I can't even begin to say how amazing this trip was from start to finish. We had the best agent, Baraka, that was simply the greatest throughout the whole process.I told him what we wanted and he did everything to make it happen and to make our trip wonderful! When we ran into a hiccup he immediately took care of it, even though it was 4:00 a.m. his time, he went above and beyond. We loved the hotels we stayed in, very classy, just what we wanted, the game drives were amazing, thank you Elephant Plains Lodge. They served three wonderful meals every day with a smile on their face. All of our guides were amazing! It was truly a once in a lifetime trip!Thank you Good Earth Tours and Baraka, you are the best! Linda Kabashi2025-03-05Verified The best guide to safari! The best guide to safari! We are a family of four who traveled to Tanzania with 'Tanzania Tours' in early February 2025. We had the most unforgettable safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, thanks to our driver and guide Abdul Datoo from Good Earth Tours, who was extremely competent and also a super pleasant company. Thanks to Abdul we managed to see 'the big five' and a lot of other animals and beautiful natural places. His knowledge of wildlife was enormous, and he could answer all the questions we asked him about the animals and about Tanzania in general. We give Good Earth Tours and Abdul Datoo our warmest recommendations! Kristian M2025-03-05Verified Safari We booked a safari trip for our family through Tanzania Tours, and their partner company Good Earth tours. We had an amzing safari experience in Ndutu and Ngorongoro Crater. We saw everything we could hope for, and more! The big five, the ugly five the small five etc. We saw lions, and cheetahs with their cubs and feeding on their recent kill, The big migration, hundreds of giraffes +++. We gad out own car with a tou guide, Fadhili Komba. He was really great as well! He was very friendly and helpful, and showed us all we could drem of. Top score to both Fadhili and Good Earth Tours. Highly recommend! M @ C2025-02-27Verified A wonderful trip in Tanzania Trip was organized by Baraka of Good Earth Tours. We traveled for twelve days - Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Ndutu and Serengeti. Baraka did a great job of organizing everything for us. We were very fortunate to have Richard Peter as our guide. It was our pleasure to spend time with Mr. Peter and he was superb at spotting wild life. Thank you Good Earth, thank you Baraka and thank you Richard Peter! Courtnay H2025-01-20Verified What safari dreams are made of! We loved Good Earth! To start the price options and itineraries were great. Ranging anywhere from budget to luxury. We went with the value plus and we were not disappointed. The booking process was seamless and Baraka answered all our questions and was able to accommodate all requests even though we booked with relatively short notice (booked mid November for beginning of January Safari). For you Canadians, Good Earth has an office in Alberta which makes payment easier. We went on a 9 day safari which included our pickup from the airport a rest day in Arusha and then 8 days through Tarangire, Ngornogoro, Central Serengeti and Ndutu. Our guide Richard was phenomenal! We loved him. He was quiet, calm and very respectful of the animals and the parks. We appreciated his knowledge and thoughtfulness throughout our whole trip. He really took care of us and our safari was top tier because of him. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Good Earth and our guide Richard to all our friends and family! Thank you Richard, Baraka and the whole Good Earth company for making our time in Tanzania memorable. It's a trip we will never forget because of you! Julie F2025-01-10Verified Good experience My friend and I were on a three-day safari in tarangire with our guide Fadhilli Komba. We booked through the Danish sister company Tanzania tours. The program was well planned and we got to see really many animals despite the fact that we were only in the one park Tarangire. Fadhili was a really good and competent guide who with his many years of experience knew everything about the park. He was very engaged and wanted to tell a lot, which was really cool. We can definitely recommend Tanzani Tours and our guide Fadhili Komba. Lise P2024-12-02Verified Amazing and professional service My boyfriend and I used Good Earth Tours (however, through a Danish agency Tanzania Tours) for a private safari and private hiking tour to reach the top of Kilimanjaro. From we landed in Kilimanjaro airport to we left again the service we received was amazing. We were picked up and taken to the first Lodge we were staying in. The rooms weren’t ready yet, but our driver – Emanuel – suggested that we then could go and see the local food market in Arusha. After experiencing that our room was ready and we headed back to the Lodge, before saying goodbye to us he checked what time we wanted to be picked up the next day for our first safari day. Our safari guide Edwardi (Eddy) was so skilled. He could answer any question we had and was so knowledgeable. He was the reason why we managed to see all Big Five and gave us amazing advice during our 6-day safari in terms of waking up early etc. to see the animals as the temperature where higher than expected when we went on safari. The safari went above our expectations which is highly due to Eddy’s expertise, personality and in general the amazing service he provided. After the safari we had one night in Arusha before we were to begin the Lemosho route to reach the top of Kilimanjaro. Neither of us has done anything like hiking before and therefore it was important for us to use a company that is listed on KPAP and thereby has committed to treat the crew properly – both Good Earth Tours and our Danish agency have committed to KPAP. Our Chief Guide, Nestory, met us as the Lodge the day before to go through the route and our equipment plus check if we were missing anything. From the moment we met Nestory we could feel that we were in safe hands and that he knew completely what he was talking about. This was truly an amazing start of our Kilimanjaro adventure. We met the rest of the team the following day and we would never have reached the summit if they hadn’t been a part of the journey. The days flew by when we hiked with Nestory and Juma, our assistant guide, they created the best atmosphere. We could ask them about anything, and it felt like we had known them forever. When we met the rest of the team on the route, they were always cheering for us, which where amazing. The chef, Juma, prepared so much delicious food which we never understood how were possible since we were on a mountain. The waiter, Lissu, took such good care of us and made sure that we always had hot water for tea, snacks and whatever we needed. Hamis, the Head Porters, always chose the best places for our camp and the rest of the porters, Mohamed, Kelvin, Adam, Abdulkarimu, Abdillah, Simon, Julius, Mohamed and Donisian where all incredible. They were always positive and cheering for us. Some of the Porters even met us when we were between 45-30 minutes away from the camp and carried our backpacks to the camp. This was such an amazing service. November is known for “the little rain season” and it was impressive how calm, professional and always in a good mood the whole team were. They were all so helpful. It was a pleasure to have them allocated to our team and if we are to do it all over again, we would ask for the exact same team. Denise F2024-11-07Verified Amazing experience! After a lot of research and consideration, we decided to go with Good Earth Tours and the experience was better than we imagined. Everything was so well planned with consideration for our varied desires and special requests. We were treated to so many wonderful animal sightings and all stand out as once in a lifetime experiences. My favorites were the large elephants families in the Amboseli, the huge male lions feasting in the Maasai Mara, another family of lions on a early morning kill just outside our hotel, and the river crossing in the Serengeti and the baobab trees in Tarangerie. Speaking of hotels, we stayed in comfortable hotels with spacious rooms and high level amenities. The food was always good and even with particular dietary needs/wants, we always found something we liked. Our experience could not have been what it was without the thoughtful and knowledgable guides; Peter in Kenya who ensured that every moment provided the views and varied experiences, and Rafael in Tanzania who acted as a walking encyclopedia for the fauna and flora of eastern Africa. What an amazing experience! I am forever grateful for the opportunity. wiseguy4932024-11-07Verified The Team at Good Earth Were Amazing - Thanks for a Memorable Trip Oh my gosh, the 2-week safari in Kenya and Tanzania that Baraka and the team at Good Earth put together was amazing. From personalizing the itinerary, to the hotel and tent camps, everything was perfect. The communication back and forth when setting up the Safari was prompt and informative and Baraka was very patient answering all the questions asked (and there were many). We upgraded to the premier package which was still significantly lower than using a US company and I'm glad we did. The hotels and food they served was top notch. There were 6 of us in the Land Rover and we all had front row seats to amazing scenery and wildlife during our game drives. The Migration tour was for the “Big 5" but we saw so much more than that - more animals, plants and birds that you can imagine. We were so close at times to the lions, giraffes and elephants at times that were within a few feet of them. Our bush guides (Rafael and Peter) were also amazing - getting as close as possible, all the while explaining in detail all the animals we were seeing in great detail.Although, this is hard to do, here are a few highlights:Nairobi National Park - the only place we saw Rhinos and only 30 minutes from our hotelThe Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage - such a great causeWatching the Wildebeests cross the Mara River was truly amazingMaasai Mara - a huge variety of animals including Elephants, Zebras, Wildebeests, Lions, Giraffes, crocs, hippos just to name a fewA Visit to a Maasai VillageThe Serengeti (North and Central) - a huge park that we spent days in - we saw something new and different everydayNgorongoro CraterOlduvai GorgeTarangireAmboseli National Park - this is THE place to see elephantsAnd the sunsets every night were spectacular!I could go on and on. If you are thinking about booking a local Safari company, you can't go wrong with Good Earth. I give them my highest rating. Larry2024-11-06Verified Trip of a Lifetime My wife and I started with nothing more than a bucket list that included a safari. We did a little research and determined we wanted to go to East Africa, with seeing animals as our main goal. We began contacting safari companies. Baraka from Good Earth Tours responded quickly and thoroughly answered all our questions, even making suggestions to improve our trip. We booked a private safari and met up with our guide Eddie in Arusha. For the next 11 days, Eddie guided our safari making sure that we saw everything we wanted to see. While finding the elusive animals is not an exact science, having an experienced guide enhances your chances of seeing them and Eddie was the best. We managed to see all of the Big Five and many others. We would highly recommend this trip.
