Apologies for the delay in sending this feedback.

Our itinerary: Kilimanjaro Uhuru Peak (Machame Route - 7 Day) : Sept. 14-20, 2005 (reached summit!) Safari (5 day) : Sept. 22-26, 2005

Overall: We are extremely satisfied with the services provided by you in the US and the friendly duo of Ndashy and Mange ("movers and shakers", ha ha). Our airport pickup and drop-off and hotel accommodations were organized perfectly.

Kilimanjaro: We have the highest praise for our guide Maiko and assistant guide Simon. Apart from watching over us like bodyguards, they provided constant encouragement and skillfully motivated us all the way to the peak by uttering choice phrases that they must have learnt thorough years of experience. Simon sang all night on the summit climb and it was a huge morale boost to hear that. A memorable experience that will stay with us for a lifetime. We'd also like to praise the other staff, Fraterno for serving us food every meal, the cook for providing excellent vegetarian fare (we were very anxious about this before the trip). The rest of the arrangements were also done with great care.

Safari: Abdul was our driver/guide and Robert was our cook. Abdul is amazingly skillful at spotting animals (and birds - this is a huge bonus for bird-watchers. Abdul is an avid bird-watcher and if you tell him right upfront that you are interested in birds, he will make sure that you see as many birds as you can) and is a very good driver. They took great care of us during the 5 days and we had a memorable time. After the Uhuru summit, we did not expect the Safari to top that, but we were pleasantly amazed by what we experienced. Thanks to Good Earth for two fantastic trips.
